a Little bit about our Youth Pastor…
Born and raised in Hilo, Gordon Kaiolohia Carvalho has been the youth pastor of Kona Baptist Church since 2015. He became a Christian at the age of six years old while attending Hamakua Baptist Church. Where he later served as a youth leader for 8 years. Kai graduated from UH Hilo in 2007 and shortly moved to Kona where he works for The State of Hawaii.
Kai and his wife, Abbey, works as our “dynamic duo” with the youth at Kona Baptist Church. Kai enjoys coaching Judo at Konawaena High School and does Club Judo during the year. In his spare time, he loves to garden, go fishing and diving and just spend time with family and friends.
